These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, analyzemycar.com, and all associated services, including account creation, vehicle reports, AI-driven tools, and any other platform features (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing the Services, or purchasing credits, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform or access any of the Services.

About Us

AnalyzeMyCar (further referred as "AnalyzeMyCar", "We", "Our") is an AI assisted and automotive data driven platform that provides vehicle insights, valuations, and vehicle history reports. Based on the data obtained from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), official records (such as MOT records, finance database, and such other licensed data). We aim to support users in making more informed decisions when buying, selling, or understanding a vehicle.

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to analyse and generate outputs based on data available on "as is" basis. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only and may include estimates, predictions, or recommendations.

Our mission is to make vehicle data transparent, reliable, and accessible, delivering a clear view of a vehicle's condition, specifications, and market value to improve confidence and remove guesswork for our users.

Our Service

AnalyzeMyCar is a credit-based vehicle data platform. Users purchase credits which can then be used to generate vehicle reports. Available report types include:

Basic Vehicle Information

Registration details, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), engine specifications, and emissions.

MOT History

Complete MOT records, including pass/fail results, defects, and recorded mileage.

Digital Service Book

Detailed service history and dealer records.

Build Sheet

Manufacturer specifications and equipment packages.

Visual Assessment

AI-generated estimates of damage and repair costs based on photos you upload.

All reports are provided for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for making financial, legal, or purchasing decisions regarding a vehicle. For critical matters, always verify information directly with the relevant authority or official source.

Definitions

"Credits" means prepaid digital units purchased by you which may be redeemed exclusively on the Platform to access specific Services, including the generation of vehicle reports. Credits do not constitute legal tender, stored monetary value, or electronic money.

"Used Credits" means Credits that have been irreversibly consumed at the point a report has been successfully generated and made available to your account, regardless of whether you access, download, or use that report.

"Unused Credits" means Credits that remain in your account and have not yet been applied toward any report generation.

"Digital Content" has the meaning given under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and includes any vehicle report, data output, or AI-generated insight provided via the Platform.

Data Accuracy

AnalyzeMyCar is authorized, through (licenses or other permissions) to obtain or retrieve vehicle information from reliable and industry recognized third-party data providers on an "as is" basis. We do not create, generate, or own this data ourselves and therefore we do not guarantee its absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

Reports may occasionally contain missing, outdated, or incomplete information. This does not indicate an error or defect in our Service; it simply reflects the data available from the source providers at the time the report was generated.

Data Usage Restrictions

You may access and use the data and reports provided through the platform solely for your personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

Certain data made available through the platform is retrieved from third-party data providers, including but not limited to OEMs, and other licensed data suppliers. Your use of such data is subject not only to these Terms and any applicable restrictions imposed by those third-party data providers, which are incorporated by reference.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with all such restrictions, which may include limitations on use, storage, reproduction, redistribution, and commercial exploitation of the data.

You must not, without our prior written consent:

  • Store, cache, archive, or systematically retain any data or reports obtained from the platform beyond their intended use.
  • Reproduce, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative databases using platform data.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to extract or collect data from the platform unauthorizedly.
  • Use the platform or its data to develop, train, or improve any competing product, service, or machine learning model.

Where required by our data providers, we may impose additional restrictions or suspend access to certain data or features, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Any unauthorised use of platform data that places AnalyzeMyCar in breach of our obligation to third-party data providers, may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your access and if necessary, may lead to legal action. You acknowledge that failure to comply with these restrictions may cause irreparable harm to us and our data providers, and we reserve the right to seek injunctive relief in addition to other remedies.

Compliance with Laws and Sanctions

You agree to use the Platform and any data obtained from it in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including relevant export control laws and economic or trade sanctions laws.

You must not knowingly access, use, export, re-export, or otherwise make available any data or services obtained through the platform, directly or indirectly, to any country, entity, or individual that is subject to applicable sanctions or restrictions under relevant laws.

You must not permit any third-party to access or use the platform or its data in a manner that would cause a breach of such laws or restrictions. You agree to promptly notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of the Platform or its data that may violate these obligations.

We may implement reasonable technical measures, such as access restrictions or geo-blocking, to support compliance with applicable laws and third-party obligations, in such a case we shall intimate you about such actions.

Any breach of this section may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Platform and may expose you to legal action.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or above to use the platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining your login details, confidentiality and security of your account, login details, including your username, password, and any other credentials used to access the platform. All activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility, whether or not you personally carried it out.

You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use, security breach, or suspected compromise of your account, you must report to us immediately at support@analyzemycar.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used in violation of these Terms or for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

You are responsible to ensure that your contact information and account details are accurate and kept up to date.

Credits, Pricing & Payments

How credits work

Credits are the platform's currency for generating reports and remains valid while your account is active, unless otherwise stated. The cost in credits for each report type is displayed clearly on the platform before you confirm your request. All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT/applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.

Buying credits

  • All credit purchases are processed securely via our authorised payment provider.
  • Payment is collected immediately upon confirmation of your purchase.
  • Credits are added to your account as soon as payment is successfully processed and confirmed
  • A receipt confirming your purchase is sent to your registered email address after every purchase for your records.
  • Credits remain valid and do not expire while your account is active

Credit costs per report

The current credit cost for each type of report is displayed on the pricing page within the platform. We reserve the right to update these costs at any time, with reasonable prior notice provided to users. Any changes in the currency will be notified to the users.

Credit Usage

Used Credits:

Credits are deducted only where a vehicle report has been successfully generated and made available to your account through the platform.

For the purposes of these Terms, a credit is deemed "used" only when:

  • The requested report has been successfully generated, and
  • Such report has been made accessible in your account

regardless of whether you access, download, or otherwise utilise such report.

Unused credits:

A Credit will not be considered "used" where a report cannot be generated due to system failure, data unavailability, processing error, or failed transaction, in which case no Credit will be deducted or, where deducted in error, it will be reinstated to your account within a reasonable time.

Any unused Credits remain available in your account for use in accordance of these Terms and are subject to any applicable provision to credit validity, account suspension, termination, or refund provisions.

Nothing in this clause shall be interpreted as limiting or affecting your statutory rights under applicable law.

Credit expiry & account status

Credits remain valid available for use while your account is active.

If your account is suspended, you will not be able to use credits during the period of suspension, but they will remain in your account until reactivation.

If your account is closed by you or terminated by us, any unused credits will be no longer be accessible or usable. You may be eligible to request a refund for unused credits in accordance with our refund policy, unless your account was terminated due to a breach of any of these Terms, in which case any unused Credits may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is simple and transparent - you only pay for what you use.

Company's Refund timeline: 14-day refund window (Voluntary policy)

You may request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase of Credits. Refunds will be calculated based solely on the number of unused Credits remaining in your account at the time your refund request is received.

Statutory consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you may have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

However, by purchasing credits and requesting immediate access to digital content (including vehicle reports), you expressly agree that:

  • The Services will begin immediately after purchase and
  • Your right to cancel may be lost once the reports have been generated and provided in your account.

Where your statutory right to cancel applies and has not been lost, you will be entitled to a refund in accordance with applicable law.

How the refund amount is calculated

Refunds are calculated based on Unused Credits only. Used Credits are non-refundable.

  • Each credit you have used is charged at £1.00 (one-pound sterling)
  • The value of any unused credits will be refunded to you, including any applicable VAT.
  • Example: If you purchased 20 credits and used 6, you may request a refund for the remaining 14 unused credits (incl. of applicable VAT amount).

Processing time

Refund requests must be made within fourteen (14) days of the credit purchase date. Approved refunds will include applicable VAT (where applicable) and will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period, typically within 14 business days.

No refunds will be issued after the expiry of the 14-day refund period, under this Voluntary policy, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Please note that the time taken for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider, and we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.

How to request a refund

  • Email support@analyzemycar.com with the subject line: Refund Request.
  • Include your transaction ID, which can be found on your purchase receipt.
  • Specify the number of unused credits you wish to have refunded.
  • We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable time.

VAT Included

Unused credit refunds include applicable VAT.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform responsibly and only for its intended purposes. You must not:

  • Access or attempt to access vehicle data that you are not authorised to view.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the platform or its underlying systems.
  • Upload, share, or distribute content that is harmful, malicious, or unlawful.
  • Commit fraud, impersonate others, or misuse the Services in any way.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit reports or data obtained from the platform without our prior written consent.

Serious or repeated breaches of these rules may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement or other relevant authorities. We reserve the right to monitor usage of the platform to detect, prevent, and investigate misuse, fraud or violations of these Terms.

We may implement technical measures or run audits, including rate limiting, access controls, or automated monitoring systems, to prevent misuse of the platform and protect our data and services.

Visual Assessment - AI limitations

The Services include AI-assisted features that support the analysis and presentation of vehicle data. Such tools provide, insights, valuations, and the Visual Assessment outputs generated using automated systems and are provided for informational purposes only. These outputs are not independently generated by artificial intelligence and do not constitute automated decision-making or similar processes as defined under applicable laws governing artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or suitability, and they should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

The Visual Assessment feature uses AI to estimate damage and repair costs based on the photos you upload. These estimates are generated using automated systems and are indicative only and do not constitute professional advice, certified valuations, or repair guarantees. Estimate results may vary depending on the quality of use provided data and third-party data sources.

Photo Uploads & Data Usage

By uploading photos of your vehicle, including any images of the vehicle's number plate, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of such personal data as outlined below.

Data Retention

We retain your uploaded data only as long as necessary to provide the Visual Assessment service, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

Data Usage

Your data will be used exclusively to generate vehicle reports, related insights and estimates.

Data Sharing

Your data will not be shared with third parties except with trusted service providers solely for the purpose of delivering the Services.

Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your uploaded data at any time. For deletion requests, please contact support@analyzemycar.com.

GDPR Compliance

We are committed to protecting your personal data and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. You have the rights over your personal data, including access, rectify, and deletion. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including but not limited to the software, website design, graphics, logos, report formats, and any proprietary tools, is owned by or licensed to AnalyzeMyCar. Any vehicle data (including but not limited to OEMs, MOT records, finance database) used in the reports are licensed to AnalyzeMyCar and owned by respective third-party data provider. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to access and use the platform and your generated reports for personal or internal business purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any platform content without our prior written consent.

You retain full ownership of any photographs or media that you upload to the platform. By uploading such content, you grant AnalyzeMyCar a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, store, and process the uploaded material solely for the purpose of generating and delivering your requested report. This licence does not grant us any rights to use your content for marketing, resale, or any other purpose outside the provision of our Services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of AnalyzeMyCar towards you for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, Services, or content shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to AnalyzeMyCar in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the nature of the claim, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, business opportunities, or data.

Additionally, we do not accept responsibility for:

  • Inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in data provided by third-party sources
  • AI generated outputs (including Visual Assessment feature), are provided on an informational basis only.
  • Service interruptions, delays, or failures caused by the unavailability or malfunction of third-party service providers used to deliver the platform.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from AnalyzeMyCar's direct negligence, or for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept these limitations as reasonable and necessary for the provision of our Services.

Changes to These Terms

AnalyzeMyCar reserves the right to update or revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or operational practices. Where required by law or where changes are material, we may provide a reasonable notice, either by email to your registered address or via a notification on the platform.

Updated Terms will be made available on the platform, and the "last updated" date will be revised accordingly.

Your continued use of the platform or Services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about any updates or changes.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement. Before initiating any formal legal dispute, we encourage you to contact us at support@analyzemycar.com, as we aim to resolve complaints and concerns promptly, typically within 10 business days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through this process, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, England. By using the platform, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts for any unresolved disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms.

Privacy

Your use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available on our website at https://analyzemycar.com/. By accessing or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices and provisions described in the Privacy Policy.
