Who We Are

AnalyzeMyCar (further referred as "AnalyzeMyCar", "We", "Our") is an AI assisted, and automotive data-driven platform designed to provide accurate vehicle insights, valuations, and history reports. Based on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data, official records (such as MOT history) and advanced AI based analytical tools, we aim to support users in making more informed decisions when buying, selling, or understanding a vehicle.

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to analyse and generate outputs based on data available on "as in" basis. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only and may include estimates, predictions, or recommendations.

Our mission is to make vehicle data more transparent, reliable, and accessible. We leverage advanced analytics and trusted data sources to deliver a comprehensive view of a vehicle's condition, specifications, and true market value, reducing uncertainty and enhancing user confidence.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

What Data We Collect and Why

We do not intentionally collect special category personal data (such as health, biometric, or criminal data) unless explicitly stated otherwise. We adhere to the principle of data minimization and only collect personal data that is necessary for the purposes described in this policy. AnalyzeMyCar is the data controller for your personal data collected through our platform at analyzemycar.com, unless otherwise explicitly stated herein.

2.1 Account Information

When you register with our Platform, we collect your personal information such as your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google (for example, your name and email address) from that provider instead of collecting a password directly.

We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate your access, and send you important service-related communications.

2.2 Vehicle Data

When you request a report, we process the vehicle registration mark (VRM) or vehicle identification number (VIN) that you provide, along with the report data retrieved from our third-party data providers. If you use the Visual Assessment feature, we also process the photographs you upload. Uploaded images are used solely for vehicle assessment and are not used for facial recognition or biometric identification. This information and data are used solely for the purpose of generating and delivering the report you have requested. We may use anonymised or aggregated data to improve our AI systems. Where required, we will obtain your consent.

2.3 Payment Information

When you purchase credits, all payment transactions are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We only receive limited transaction information, such as confirmation of a payment, the transaction amount, and the email address used.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our platform, including your IP address, browser type, and details of the pages you visit. This information is used to maintain the security of our platform and improve its performance and functionality. Where you have provided consent for cookies, we also use analytics tools to better understand how users interact with our platform and to enhance the overall user experience.

Our Data Sources - Important Notice

The vehicle data displayed in our reports is obtained from official and industry-recognized third-party data providers i.e. OEMs. If data in a report appears incorrect or incomplete, this reflects what is held in the source database at the time of retrieval. While we take reasonable steps to ensure the reliability of the information provided, we do not create, control, or independently verify this data. If any information within a report appears to be inaccurate or incomplete, this is likely to reflect the data held by the original source provider. We recommend verifying the information before putting it to use.

The information and reports provided through the platform are for informational purposes only and are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information where necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or protect our legitimate interests. Your data may be shared with including but not limited to the following categories of recipients:

  • Vehicle data providers – Your VRM or VIN is shared with our third-party data providers to retrieve the requested report data. These providers may act as independent data controllers for the data they hold.
  • Payment processor – We use trusted third-party payment processors to handle your credit purchases securely. These providers process your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Our platform is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data relating to children or minors that are below 18 years of age. These outputs are provided for informational purpose only and are not used to make decisions that produce legal or significant effects on you.

Our Visual Assessment feature uses AI to estimate damage costs based on submitted photos. These estimates are indicative only and do not constitute binding, professional, or final decisions.

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or approximations. You should not solely rely on these outputs and are advised to independently verify the information before making any decisions.
